Located on the beach in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Caribbean Resort & Villas is less than two miles from Broadway at the Beach and Ripley's Aquarium. The airport is five miles away. The property features a number of water attractions, including a 200-foot lazy river (sheltered by a solarium in the winter), a freeform pool and two 16-person spa tubs. A children's water park has a pool and splash deck with fountains. An indoor complex features a pool and two four-person spa tubs. Guests of the resort also receive privileges at the private Dunes Golf Course, which is seven miles away. Additional amenities include a fitness center with cardio machines and a universal gym, game room with coin-operated video games and coin-operated laundry machines. The front desk is open 24 hours a day. There are 358 guestrooms and suites at this 15-story resort. All units include refrigerators, air conditioning and cable television. The oceanfront suites boast fully equipped kitchens, single sofa beds, double pull-down Murphy beds, four-chair dining sets, coffee tables and wing chairs. The West Building units are located across the street from the resort and do not have balconies, ocean views or tubs. Elevator access is unavailable in the West Building. Primarily drawing families because of its many water amenities, Caribbean Resort & Villas also attracts those looking for a relaxing vacation north of downtown's traffic. Please Note. The property is undergoing renovations. At this time, there is no indoor pool, children's splash deck, fitness room and game room. One outdoor spa is open.   1144143832
